Using Boot Magic to Boot Windows or Linux Getting Started Guide 27 12. Remove the diskette, label it “Boot Magic Rescue Diskette” and click on OK. The Boot Magic Configuration shows the Windows partition as the one that is booted by default. It also shows that there is a 30 second delay for Windows to start automatically if no action is taken. The next steps make it possible for you to select OpenLinux to start at boot time. 13. Select Add. The Boot Magic Add OS window appears. 14. Click on Advanced. You should see the Linux partition (it should have a partition type Linux Ext2). 15. Click on the Linux Partition, then select OK. The Boot Magic Menu Item Properties window appears. 16. Type a name for the partition (such as OpenLinux), click on Change Icon to change the icon to LINUXCA.ICO (and select OK), and select OK again. 17. Click on Save/Exit to save your Boot Magic Configuration.
